How to Build Your Direct Sales Newsletter List

In direct sales, staying in contact with your past hostesses and customers is very important. You always want to have a way to talk to them and get your name out as a reminder of your business and what you have to offer. Using Newsletters is a wonderful way. Here are some great tips that will help you establish and grow your list.

1. On all of your order forms make sure you have a section printed on them for customer's to fill in their email address and have them check off a yes/no box to sign up for your email newsletter.

2. Mention your email newsletter to all home party guests during your home show presentation. Let guests know about the "perks" that come along with being a subscriber.

3. Sponsor an online product review and/or giveaway on a product review blog. Ask the review blogger to include signing up for your newsletter as an option for contestants to earn entries into the giveaway. This is one of the fastest and hottest ways to build your subscriber list.

4. Have a "blurb" about your newsletter printed onto all business cards that you hand out to people you meet.

5. Write up a few paragraphs about your email newsletter along with subscriber information and perks and print it out on a 1/4 sheet of paper. Staple these mini flyers to your product catalogs.

Use your newsletter as a means of staying in contact and as a great way to talk about products, new and old; tips on using the products; upcoming sales; news worthy information about the company and other things your clients will be interested in. Make it a fun experience and something that they will look forward to reading and you will remain on their list for a long time.
